The negative effects of rapid climate change continue to challenge us to find ways to be more energy-efficient. As one of the largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions, the building industry has a responsibility to reduce energy consumption in the built environment. However, heritage buildings have often been excluded from the discourse on energy efficiency due to their specific conservation needs. As a result, this study aims to develop a framework for assessing and recommending energy-saving measures for heritage structures.
The design of this project aims to create a functional living space for an extended family, while still maintaining a sense of privacy and independence. The building will consist of two separate homes, all within one house. The goal is to create a sense of community while providing separate living spaces for each family.
Our project is to design and build a resort house that incorporates sustainable design elements to ensure the house blends with its surroundings while being environmentally conscious. The client, a sustainability specialist, desires an open-plan house that lets in ample natural light and ventilation.
The design of this interior condo has been inspired by the creative and dynamic lifestyle of the client, a film maker who requires a space that is both functional and visually appealing. The design elements are a combination of wood and concrete materials that create an industrial yet warm and cozy ambiance.
Grill Town is a restaurant concept that emphasizes the use of fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and provides a dining experience that is both casual and refined. The aim of this project is to create a unique and sustainable restaurant by adapting and reusing materials from the previous site to create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
