NDSU has a Land Grant Act that we acknowledge. For this project, we decided to bring that to action on our NDSU campus. This project aims to provide a space that provides a community and use for all Native American and Native American students. We were partnered up to make research reach out to local native students to help create the vision for a space they'll feel comfortable being in for any activities that'll be taking place.
We had to make a cover for a book (that I and my partner selects from a list provided by our professor) that reflects the content. Then, provide a paragraph, and record the cover in 3 photos with a 60-sec video.
This was a fun project. Based on the topics presented in class, we had to create what we envisioned that we read from the topic presented in class—one of the topics listed as Cloud City.
This project was focus on our client that we made up, but also a collaboration with our group creating a community, but also creating our individual clients tiny home. The main goal is benefiting the hotel to accommodate anyone who visits and anyone around it—having enough room on the first floor to incorporate multi–use. The building is a standard rectangular shape, and the first floor's entrance is recessed, protecting those who stand underneath it. The building also has varieties in-room able to be accommodated any user. With an abyss, it looks below the reception desk and above the skylight.
Welcome to Washington D.C! Your next stop is 610 Rhode Island Ave NE, Bryant St. The site you're arriving to will be part of the new development for Bryant St. It sits on the border of an area that was once part of two nineteenth-century estates -Edgewood and Eckington. Its history intertwines with U.S. history from the days of Native Americans through the 1600s, Civil War, and early 20th century. The site currently holds 2,000 parking spaces, a two-level movie theater, and a pedestrian bridge to rhode island avenue metro station. Futher out from the site there's a run down powerplant, and plenty natural vegetation. For nearby commercial services there are a couple of restaurants owned by both larger franchises and locally such as McDonalds, Seafood boils, etc. Rhode Island Avenue is a principle arterial in the local and regional classifications of the roadway network.
