NDSU has a Land Grant Act that we acknowledge. For this project, we decided to bring that to action on our NDSU campus. This project aims to provide a space that provides a community and use for all Native American and Native American students. We were partnered up to make research reach out to local native students to help create the vision for a space they'll feel comfortable being in for any activities that'll be taking place.

The design of the building represents the traditional dance of Lakota Dokata Tribal Dace that, almost represents an infinity design and was the inspiration for the creation of the building. as well as the site itself; we also wanted to incorporate a natural curvilinear design that represents the native American culture.

We decided to create an opening space that'll provide multiple uses for the facility. one of the most significant events that occur is the Pow Wow, and having an area where they can host at a consistent location is something they prefer. We wanted this space to unite all native cultures so that everything that represents them is acknowledged when others walk into the building.
