Proposal for restoration and reuse of Motel "Xenios Zeus" in Ancient Olympia. vol.1
The subject of this thesis is the historic hotel of the "Xenios Zeus" type, designed in 1963 by Aris Konstantinidis in ancient Olympia. The proposal for the restoration and reuse of the building as a motel takes into account the design principles of Aris Konstantinidis and then provides for the implementation of sustainable design strategies that ensure the ecological balance that has been disturbed by the climate crisis. The design expresses respect for the natural environment and harmonisation with the landscape of the world heritage site of ancient Olympia. The study emphasizes the preservation of the identity and style of the specific motel , such as the architectural elements and forms that characterize the design of the hostels , while in the already existing layout it proposes some minor interventions to create additional spaces with new functions.

Piraeus belongs to the North climatic zone of Greece. It is the southwestern coastal district of Piraeus, located east of the central port of Piraeus. It is bordered on the north by the Κallipoli with the boundary of Filikis Etairias street , on the east by the Agios Basileios with the boundary of Dragoumi street , on the west and south it is bordered by the Saronic Gulf .Along the beach of Piraeus are the Ancient Long Walls that protected the main settlement of Athens and its port.
Restoration and new use of a neoclassical building in the city of Piraeus.
The building under study is located within the plot at the junction of Notaras Kolokotronis El. Venizelos, with a total area of 474,81 sqm. The building seems to have been built around 1880-1890. It does not show any different phases of construction and its present form does not differ much from the original. According to information, the building was rebuilt to house the Mela family and the needs of the family business, The house was occupied by the family until about 1980 and since then it has remained unoccupied. In the part of the building designated as a listed building The building with the facades on El. Venizelos and Kolokotronis. This decision protects its architectural character from alterations during its repair or other interventions and prohibits any removal, alteration or destruction of the architectural and artistic ornamental and artistic decorative elements. The building is a neoclassical building, a typical example of a typical example of an urban residence - mansion. It is a two-storey house with a basement consisting of complete and independent apartments on each floor.

House reuse located in Methana, Greece, according to Sustainable architecture principles.
The peninsula of Methana is located in the northeastern part of the Peloponnese. It belongs to Climate Zone B of Greece. There are about thirty volcanic domes on the peninsula. Methana is part of the of the volcanic arc of South Aegean. The aim was to transform the building into an ecological house with zero waste. The first stage of the process was to study the wind and sunlight in the area where the building is located.
