This project was a response to the overtourism in the city of Barcelona, Spain. It was designed as a one-stop shop in the neighborhood of Sant Montjuic to take the pressure off downtown Barcelona neighborhoods like Eixample and El Raval. Following Pritzeker Prize winners Lacaton & Vassal's concept "Never Demolish," we chose an abandoned building with a significant historical value and turned it into a hologram museum that has replicas of the most famous landmarks in the city. The museum is connected to two other buildings, one designed as a party club and the other as a hotel.
The project's goal is to design a new Islamic mosque and community center in New York City. The center's mission is to raise awareness about Islamophobia and to provide a place for the city's large Muslim community to worship, have fun, and learn.
Environmental Education Center in New York City, submitted as a final thesis project to obtain a Master Of Architecture degree at Southern Illinois University in 2022. The project draws inspiration for its shape from the human eye. The building spaces are designed between the two parts of the structures, and the dome in the middle joins them while housing an indoor greenhouse. The project is extremely sustainable and earned a LEED Platinum rating thanks to a variety of sustainable practices that were used throughout
The project seeks to design a new cultural center on the site of the old IRT Powerhouse in New York City. The concept was to design a building that is both modern and classic in order to fit in with the neighborhood's style. We opted for a classic shape with classic materials, from which a modern shape with modern materials emerged. To make the project more sustainable, we designed an indoor garden as a continuation of the new proposed park, as well as a facade made of rammed earth and low E glass.
