Recycled Materials Weave - Herringbone Weave

PROJECT: Recycled Materials Weave TASK: Use recycled materials to create an assigned weave pattern identifying the Weft, Warp, and Selvage. MATERIALS: Torn shopping bags were cut into strips and woven together in a herringbone weave pattern. The last bit of blue painters tape from a spent roll was used to bind the woven materials. The red plastic is shown here as the Weft, brown paper bag is shown as the Warp, and blue painters tape as the Selvage.
