The main focus of this project is to find a fresh design approach for architecture. According to Rem Koolhaas, he illustrated several elements of architecture such as floor, wall, ceilling, roof, door, window, facade, balcony, corridor, fire place, toilet, stair, escalator, elevator, ramp and etc. Not all architectures are formed by these elements, hence only few elements are involved in this project. The final purpose is to use only 1 element to create a space. Since only 1 element is allowed to apply, the approach of design will be restricted. First, choosing several elements to reform the definition, I breaks all the chosen elements apart and transform the factors into the 1 element I picked: Window. By finding the real meaning of window, the deisgn process is abstract, and combine all the factors that are substract from other elements; the final form is derived from the combination.
