Bungalow Project
Embarking on my first working drawing project, I am tasked with designing a charming and elegant bungalow situated on a site in Bukit Katil, Melaka, where I aim to create a harmonious blend of functionality, aesthetics, and a seamless integration with the natural surroundings.
Student Housing Apartment
Located in close proximity to the university area and surrounded by convenient facilities, the site offers an ideal location to develop a comfortable student housing complex, catering specifically to the needs of UTP and UITM students, providing them with a conducive living environment that promotes academic excellence and well-being.
Tropical Mosque Project
Nestled within the serene and verdant ambiance of Ipoh's Taman Botani Perak, the project site holds immense potential for the creation of a purposeful and visually striking mosque. The client's brief specifically calls for a mosque that serves as a spiritual haven for the nearby residents, providing a tranquil space for prayer, contemplation, and community gatherings. However, the project goes beyond its functional requirements by embracing the captivating greenscape of the site context. By carefully integrating the natural elements and the surrounding greenscape, the mosque design aims to establish a harmonious relationship between the built environment and the lush greenery. The intention is to create an atmosphere of serenity, where visitors are seamlessly connected to the tranquil beauty of nature during their spiritual journey. The architectural concept takes inspiration from the rich tropical aesthetics, incorporating elements such as abundant natural light, greenery, and open-air spaces. The mosque's design seeks to harmonize with the site's existing landscape, ensuring a seamless transition between the built form and the surrounding natural environment. Strategic placement of courtyards, gardens, and reflective pools within the mosque complex allows for a seamless integration of the greenscape. These elements not only enhance the aesthetic appeal of the mosque but also serve as tranquil spaces for visitors to reconnect with nature.
