Samuel, an architecture student fascinated by urban evolution, discovers an ancient map with mysterious coordinates leading to a hidden, otherworldly library—the Library of Form. Inside, he finds endless halls filled with blueprints, models, and visions of cities that have existed, could have been, or are yet to come. Guided by a wise librarian, Samuel stumbles upon a blueprint of his hometown, but with a shocking twist: the city was never built, replaced instead by an untouched forest. A cryptic note reveals that a single decision centuries ago shaped its existence. As he studies the blueprint, reality around him begins to shift, and he realizes the library holds the power to alter history. Descending deeper into the archives, Samuel sees visions of possible futures—some utopian, others dystopian—each shaped by architectural choices. Holding the blueprint of his city, he faces a daunting question: should he preserve the world he knows or allow history to take a different path? With the library’s truth revealed, Samuel steps toward an uncertain fate, knowing that architecture does not just shape cities—it defines the course of time itself

The Library of Form

Chapter 1: The Discovery Samuel, an architecture student obsessed with the evolution of cities, always felt that his hometown hid a secret. One night, while reviewing old blueprints in the university library, he found a strange document: a map with unexplained coordinates, accompanied by a faded ink note: "The origin of all cities." Intrigued, he decided to follow them. The coordinates led him to a secluded hill covered in lush trees. There, hidden among the vegetation, he found an impossible structure: a monumental library that seemed to defy the laws of time and space. Its polished marble facade reflected a sky that did not match his own. The massive doors, engraved with shifting geometric patterns, opened as he placed his palm upon them.

Chapter 2: The Infinite Hallways

Crossing the threshold, Samuel was left breathless. The Library of Form had no visible limits. Colossal bookshelves stretched in all directions, holding blueprints, models, and designs of impossible cities. Holograms of suspended metropolises floated in the air, organic structures grew like trees, and blueprints of cities built upon crystalline oceans flickered before him. Each corridor followed its own logic: some were made of endless staircases, others curved until they returned to their starting point. An elderly librarian approached Samuel with a serene gaze. "Every city that has ever existed, that could have been, or that will be, has a place here," he said in a deep voice. "Every architectural decision is a crossroads in history."

Chapter 3: The City That Never Was

Samuel spent hours exploring until his eyes fixed on a blueprint that felt eerily familiar. With trembling hands, he picked it up: it was his hometown... but different. There were no buildings, no streets, no monuments. Instead, a dense forest covered the land, with winding rivers and clearings where nature had reclaimed everything. It was as if the city had never been built. A note in the margin caught his attention: "A decision, centuries ago, changed this fate." Samuel realized that a single act had determined the existence of his city. What if that decision had never been made? What did this mean for the present?

Chapter 4: The Dilemma

As Samuel analyzed the blueprint, he felt his surroundings shift. The library’s lights flickered, and the sound of the city outside the building grew fainter. He looked around and noticed something unsettling: every time he laid his eyes on a blueprint, reality seemed to respond, as if the existence of his world depended on the library's archives. His mind wavered between two futures: one where his city remained, with its history, its streets, and its people; another where nature reclaimed its original place. Was it his duty to preserve the world he knew or allow history to take a new course?

Chapter 4: The Dilemma

Collaboration and Legacy - Sarah's deep local roots facilitated a smooth design and construction process for this project, from collaborating with a local contractor to regularly cycling past the site on her way to the office. Naming her practice after the area and having lived in Peckham her entire life, Rusty House on the Rye represents more than just a design project—it's a meaningful contribution to Sarah's community and a visible, lasting addition to the neighborhood. The project is a gateway into Peckham that reflects Sarah's personal and professional identity.

Chapter 5: The Future in His Hands

Driven by a mix of curiosity and fear, Samuel descended into the deepest levels of the library. There, he found blueprints of cities yet to exist—some utopian, powered by clean energy and self-sustaining structures; others dystopian, consumed by decay and pollution. He understood that every architectural choice had consequences that rippled through time. He returned to his city’s blueprint and held it in his hands. He knew he could intervene, rewrite its destiny. But did he have the right to do so? With the blueprint in his possession, he walked toward the library’s exit, where an uncertain horizon awaited him. The Library of Form had revealed the truth: architecture does not just shape cities—it defines the course of history. Now, the decision was in his hands.
