The Abd al-Hadi complex in Arrabah, Jenin, underwent a significant restoration project that concluded in 2019, transforming the historic site to serve new community functions. Originally a residential complex belonging to the prominent Abd al-Hadi family, the building was later adapted into a guest house before its most recent conversion into a school. This restoration project focused on preserving the architectural heritage of the structure, which reflects traditional Palestinian craftsmanship and design. Key elements such as the stonework, courtyards, and arches were carefully conserved while the interior was adapted to meet the functional needs of a modern educational facility. The project succeeded in both safeguarding the building’s historical integrity and ensuring its continued use as a vital part of the community’s social and educational fabric.
