This project aimed to empower underprivileged and economically weaker women by establishing a skill development center. The center would offer opportunities for women from all backgrounds to gain new skills Additionally, it would provide residential housing for students enrolled in the program, fostering a supportive learning environment.

The project commenced with a detailed analysis of the 6,000-square-meter site near Chunabhatti railway station in Mumbai. This was followed by a contextual study of the surrounding area. Based on this research, a design brief was formulated for a skill development center for women, including a dedicated hostel for their accommodation.

Research of existing skill development centers informed the spatial organization and needs for this design. The design brief for a women's skill center with a hostel guided the specific room requirements. Inspired by case studies, the design incorporates impactful elements.

The final design integrates impactful elements gleaned from case studies, while adhering to the established design brief and spatial requirements. This comprehensive approach resulted in finalized plans, sections, and elevations.
