Inspired be the continuous change along the life cycle of leaves, the pavilion projects the transformation Surrey is going through. The center of gravity is shifted towards the right side of the maple leaf, where a diorama depicts the local ecosystem. Symbolizing nature as a keystone for Surrey's transformation. In contrast, on the flourishing side of the leaf, a neon green acrylic cityscape juxtaposes the sustainable urban rise of Surrey. While Fraser River flows along the pavilion serving as an anchor point connecting nature to the development of the city.
