Here, my goal was to allow people to go on a FUTURISM voyage or to provide a futuristic way to view modern art. We are all aware of how diverse, vibrant, and EXPERIMENTAL contemporary art is and how it has no boundaries. It challenges us to reconsider/rethink how we normally perceive certain things. The entire project is basically a journey or loop that begins at the grand plaza, where visitors enter a pavilion-like space (under the canopy) and get the reception (as well as some ancillary amenities like a cafeteria, souvenir shop, etc.). When a visitor first arrives, they will notice a straight ramp that leads up to the plinth of the art museum; this is where they need to go right away. The most wonderful experience takes place here; the art gallery in Sylhet, Bangladesh, not only performs the function of an art gallery as is customary but also one of a watch tower because the location is graced by mother nature and surrounded by stunning mountains. The Art Gallery itself is basically a circular ramp-like walkway, and once the visitor has completed their internal adventure, they return to the entering reception by using the geometrically organic ramp and get the ancillary facilities once again. The journey ends.
