The project is focused on exploration of the novel way of living on water boundaries with the implications of memory and myth that may shape new behavior towards our relationships to the planet and to our environment. Using new ecological form and space as mediator to shape a more respectful view of the ecosystem and mythological view of the landscape. Hydrological Territories aim to use ceremonies and ritual spaces as the main drivers to embed values that ensure the long-term ecological restoration that is linked to the future of the local communities.

Section drawing shows the harmony in human and non-human activities. Local community (Quillayute tribe) ties with the population of salmon and see salmon as center of ceremonies. Project proposes salmon hatchery program with breed stock pool and incubation room to help grow salmon in numbers to sustain the fishing culture of local communities. Tools used: Rhino and photoshop
Inspired by the memory of salmon that helps making their way to river to spawn, the project is located at Quillayute river estuary in La Push Washington State. The drawing shows an artificial reef during low tide promoting rock pooling and fishing activity. Little fishing huts are designed adjacent to water promote the relationships of local people, the mist, and the water. Tools used: Rhino and photoshop
