he exterior design takes reference from the desert surroundings, using a palette of natural tones to integrate with the context. The façade employs mashrabiyas as functional shading elements, while also contributing to the building’s contemporary architectural identity.

Main lobby

The interior was designed to reflect a futuristic character. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by a halo screen installation positioned beneath a skylight, drawing natural light into the lobby. Around this central space, plant samples and displays highlight the building’s botanical purpose, creating an environment where research and design come together in an immersive experience.

Labs

The laboratory spaces were coordinated with specialists and fully modeled in Revit to ensure accuracy and functionality. The interior design uses color coding to distinguish between different research divisions, supporting both orientation and operational clarity.
