This project is a collective form city devised by revising an Urban Moiré of buildings meshed from Mexico City and Hong Kong. After revising the buildings we are left with snake-like blocks with glass towers extruded from the top and hanging from the bottom, giving it the name the Stalagmite City.
This model is a zoomed-in, more detailed version of the previously mention axonometric drawing. On this, we can see the return of the hatch pattern to show green terrain atop the towers.
A quarter-mile square plan of Stalagmire City. The plan shows the interconnectivity of the snake tours displaying how the city is traversed. In addition, we see the forested area which lies beneath the city as well as the network for transportation. At the center, we can see where the Zoom Axonometric was modeled from. The hatch pattern that can be seen along the snake-like towers is to indicate a change in terrain to grass.
The section drawing provides more insight into the verticality of the plan in relation to the topography. We can see the extrusions of the towers from the top and as well as how the city itself towers over the topography leaving the ground nearly untouched by man.
