‘Plot Thickened’ explores the design of a space to accommodate three programs in an assigned interior renovation site. Play, tiered seating, and exploration spaces are integrated in a way that overlap and interact to create unique conditions inspired by Rem Koolhaas' Downtown Athletic Club. Children are encouraged to learn the forms of plant biology through massive plant cell structures and spiraling multi- level flower spikes with the intent to get lost and discover new spaces at every turn.
