The concept of The Living Dam is to create a harmonious relationship between architecture and nature, allowing visitors to experience and appreciate the nature of King Talal Dam. The design is centered around the notion of the symbiotic living. The interpretation center and visitor center act as educational facilities that inform visitors of the importance of the natural conservation and the natural enviroment. The Living Dam is a passive design that blends seamlessly into its surroundings, utilizing sustainable and renewable materials. The living dam design incorporates with the existing dam structure, creating a building that is functional and elegant without sacrificing the natural beauty of the site. The essense of nature is woven throughout the project, promoting the role it plays in our daily lives while simultaneously providing a spaces for visitors to connect with the outdoors. resulting an immersive experience for visitors with an emphasis on sensory stimulation, encouraging them to explore and connect with the natural world.
