Unscripted is a housing design based in Ahmedabad, India. It challenges the normal notions of housing in the city. The project gives multiple opportunities to modify the house according to the client's needs where the core and service shaft remains the same. Rest all functions of the house can be customized according to the needs, such as the number of bedrooms, working space, living room, single stack unit, or double stack unit. The housing provides a stunning commercial front with dual-level parking. The entire first floor is being provided with amenities and green space in between. The entire housing project accommodates around 1500 citizens ( 3 in a single unit ). Each unit is around 90 sqm in size. addition to that facilities like restaurants, canteen and workspaces(on rental bases) is being provided to promote living and working in the same campus, to reduce transportation cost and less vehicular activities. Unscripted tries to solve all modern day problems of the housing.
The section shows the entire site, with two main roads on either side. where one road is developed as a commercial front while the other road which is isolated works as a main entrance to the building with eateries and restaurants looking towards the roads
This plan shows how the project is placed in the vicinity. The corners of the building and how it is being treated as recreational spaces. The center of the building is kept open and helps to endure nature. The green patch feels calm and peaceful because of no vehicular movement and Acoustically better because of building on the edges, which cuts the vehicular noise. Diagrams on the side show how the unit is being developed, with respect to core and services
