The Museum of Contemporary Art in Punjab is designed to be environmentally friendly. The sunken courtyard, which is used for temporary exhibitions, encourages public gathering and interaction. The courtyard is designed to be cooled by the surrounding air conditioning system and heated by the sun during the winter.

The miniature model visualization of the project is made of wood and glass materials. The wooden frame is made of thin pieces of wood that are glued together. The glass is inserted between the wooden pieces and sealed with a layer of clear sealant. The model is then painted with different colors to represent the different parts of the project.

Site Plan

The site plan shows the placement of blocks on the site and the landscape of the building surroundings and also the Flow of roads around the site. The blocks were placed in a way that preserves the old building's historic character while creating a new public space. The new public space is used for events and is also open to the public for walking and biking.

Open Air Amphitheatre

The Open Air Amphitheater is a sunken courtyard that encourages people gathering and public seating. The amphitheater is attached to the sunken courtyard by a series of ramps and bridges that allow for easy access. The amphitheater features a series of arches that create a natural ceiling, and the walls are lined with lush greenery to create an inviting atmosphere. The amphitheater can accommodate up to 200-250 people, and is perfect for hosting a Medium Scale concerts, festivals, and other events.

Exhibition Block

The exhibition block façade is made of concrete, bricks, and glass materials. The block is divided into three sections: the entrance, the central hall, and the exhibition space. The entrance features a large glass door that opens to a small plaza in front of the building. The central hall is decorated with a series of murals depicting different aspects of Brazilian history. The exhibition space is a large open area with high ceilings that allows for a wide variety of events to be held.

Floor Plans

Ground and First Floor of the building consists of mostly exhibition spaces and the Second Floor Consist of a Public Library. The Central part of the block consists of a Central staircase that create a nice flow and adds to the Building Façade as well
