Museum 1 Vantage point render

the concept of this project was to protect, show and be the visual representation of the values of art, artistic heritage and the value of the site through time. these values are expressed through the three-dimensional explosions of the fractal patterns of Ethiopian traditional art.

Initial sketch

When i visited the site the road to the left was highly cramped up PAS and the buildings are disorderly with a chaotic feeling and the road to the right on the other hand has calming order with an array of trees and rhythmical building arrangement. I wanted to turn the head of any observer to that calming order and create an artistic value for the junction.

Juxtaposition of memory and mystery

As we approach the site from the vantage point the building is rounder and horizontal in directionality. inviting towards the road with Aesthetical value (Road to piassa). And when we observe the site after we pass the building is vertical in directionality and it creates questions about what we have observed and what to observe.

Re visiting the memory

The round sequence is to grab the attention of the viewer and the horizontal lines will direct that view to the right,
