Green Institute
The approach of a space of research and environmental education for the region of Parelheiros is the content to be studied in this work. Parelheiros is a region known for its great environmental patrimony, several areas considered permanent environmental preservation (APP’s), which are currently being deforested and invaded by clandestine occupations, in question of population increase over those years. Another issue to be mentioned, which few have knowledge of, is that in the region they have very well established cultivation territories, where it is a sector that is growing in the area. The project of a Green Institute is a space of study of the environment in which it will be implemented, the development and the knowledge of what is studied is the fundamental one for its preservation, the educational space has the intention to provide courses in the area of agriculture, Teaching sustainable practices in land use without damaging it, encouraging sustainable cultivation.

MANA House was designed to insert the maximum amount of natural light into the spaces, where occupants do not feel the need to turn on the light during daytime. Also, the sun light is an important key for people’s health. The project concerns not only about the well-being of residents, but also being eco-friendly with the environment, by appliying solar panels, and the choose of materials.

Midnight Point
“Midnight point” is a model of bunkie to shelter mountain travelers in the middle of their journey. The concept is to build a place that travelers can rest and stay for one night, then continue their path or mission in the next day. The idea is to implant the project in many locations, such as, Mount Fuji, Swiss Alps, Mount Logan or Mauna Kea.
