Marketing Coordinator
The Marketing Coordinator will be vital in developing materials to help the firm win new work. Successful candidates will be highly detail oriented, driven, and inquisitive, quickly becoming knowledge experts in the firm’s markets, portfolio, and people. They will enjoy working collaboratively under frequent deadlines, take a proactive approach to problem solving, and will actively identify opportunities to elevate the work of the department.
We have an immediate opening for a Marketing Coordinator to join our bright, energetic, and dedicated marketing and BD team. This role is hybrid and supports project teams nationally, including in our Boston, Durham, Hartford, Houston, Phoenix, and virtual studios. Responsibilities:
Work closely with principals and project teams across offices, as well as members of the Marketing & Business Development team to produce high quality proposals that promote the firm’s capabilities. At times will include external partners.
Maintain consistency in messaging, visual identity, and brand positioning across all offices.
Work closely with other marketing and business development team members to improve department processes and procedures.
Work with Business Development and Marketing team on special projects, including event planning and management.
Proposal Development:
Assist Business Development Managers with research, planning, and strategy to best position the firm for new work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, effectively communication, and work collaboratively with senior level principles and project teams to accomplish project pursuit activities.
Write and/or edit compelling narratives for qualifications, proposals, project profiles, and bios.
Assume ownership of all proposal content, ensuring that information is communicated clearly, reflects defined strategy, and aligns with the firm’s overall brand, including graphic and messaging guidelines.
Lead proposal and interview meetings, establish timelines and assignments to ensure deadlines are met.
Employ quality assurance practices prior to team review and submission.
Manage marketing content library of standard marketing materials, including project profiles, resumes, and other content
Qualifications:
BS/BA in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, Design, or Business is preferred
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a marketing position within the A/E/C industry, working on proposals and other digital and print marketing materials
Highly proficient in Adobe InDesign and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, MS Office Word, Excel, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Understanding of good design principles
Familiarity with Deltek and OpenAsset preferred
Understanding of concepts, practices, and procedures in the design profession

Strong verbal, written, and graphic skills; must be comfortable with research, writing, and editing
Strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate effectively across all levels of the firm and with industry contacts

Ability to balance big picture with small details, think strategically as part of a pursuit team
Demonstrated ability to strategically coach, mentor, and provide constructive criticism
