Acelab is seeking a highly motivated and personable Architectural Connections Manager who will report to the head of Acelab Partner Success to facilitate, track, and enhance connections between architects and product manufacturers. This role is pivotal in driving engagement, ensuring smooth communication, and fostering productive relationships that align with Acelab’s mission to revolutionize material selection and specification processes in the building industry.
As the Architectural Connections Manager, you will combine exceptional communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a results-oriented mindset to ensure successful interactions between architects and manufacturers. A good foundation in building materials and the architecture/manufacturer relationship is a plus to adding value and managing conversations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management - Serve as the primary point of contact for architects and manufacturers, maintaining a high level of professionalism and responsiveness while building trust and rapport.
Facilitation and Tracking - Proactively manage, track, and follow up on connections between architects and manufacturers, ensuring projects progress smoothly and opportunities are fully realized.
Industry Expertise - Leverage knowledge of building products, materials, and architectural workflows to gain credibility with architects and manufacturers
Engagement Outreach - Initiate a high volume of outbound calls to architects and manufacturers to drive meaningful engagements, introduce product options, and ensure follow-up
CRM Management - Utilize Acelab’s CRM tools to log activities, track progress, and report on engagement metrics, ensuring complete visibility into ongoing relationships.
Market Trends - Stay up-to-date on industry trends, product innovations, sustainability standards, and specification best practices to better support stakeholders
Requirements
Communication Skills - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical and product-specific information clearly and confidently.
Industry Knowledge - Good familiarity with building materials, architectural specifications, codes, sustainability initiatives, and construction processes. Previous experience working in the building industry is highly preferred.
Relationship Building - Proven ability to develop and nurture strong, positive relationships with architects, designers, and manufacturers.
Organizational Skills - Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, track timelines, and ensure consistent follow-up.
- Proactive Mindset: Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls to initiate conversations, build rapport, and drive results.
- Problem Solver: Skilled at identifying issues, providing creative solutions, and facilitating clear communication between parties.
- Tech Savvy: Experience with CRM tools and an aptitude for learning and using digital platforms to track and optimize workflows.
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience in customer success, account management, or sales, particularly in the architecture, building materials, or construction industry.
