My name is Irina Stepanova, I was born in Belarus. I have a curious mind, always ready to expand, explore and create in all circumstances. I have been drawing all my life, during school age and as an architecture student I was involved in academic drawing and painting. My dream is to use architecture to solve complex problems that help this world become a better place, and our lives more comfortable, happier and more environmentally friendly.
Еvent center of Brest city
The goal was to create a city-wide center with rich functions, as well as to connect two disparate parts of the city: the northern one - with the current amenities and shopping area (Central Department Store, embankment, etc.) and the southern one - the coastal area to the Warsaw Highway. The first priority was to create a single large water area, enclosed in natural coastlines, instead of the previous many islands. The main pedestrian connection runs from Sovetskaya Street through the projected area. This was done to connect it with a pedestrian bridge to the southern bank in the narrowest part of the Mukhovets River (in this area)
Leisure center
The leisure center is located on the territory of the South-East-1 microdistrict of the city of Brest. In this part of the city there is an acute shortage of centers for creativity and development of children and youth. The multifunctional center includes a sports function (gym, yoga room), a children's room (children's entertainment center, club rooms), a photo zone (digital art rooms, an exhibition hall), a work area (coworking spaces), as well as a reading room and a restaurant-cafe, as well as an auditorium with 750 seats. The building and the area itself will become an important point in the development of the area and a place of attraction.
