Six Flags Qiddiya is a theme park that is being built in Saudi Arabia. The project is part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 plan to prepare its economy for the post-oil era. The park will be located just 45km to the west of Riyadh center as part of the 103 km2 total development area1. The park will contain six individual lands: The City of Thrills, Discovery Springs, Steam Town, Twilight Gardens, Valley of Fortune and Grand Exposition1. Six Flags Qiddiya will feature several world’s first rides including the signature attraction, The Falcon’s Flight, which is the tallest, longest and fastest roller coaster in the world23.
The new transport interchange will transform this important part of the town centre and create a distinctive entrance to Haverfordwest .The interface between the transport hub and ‘the street’ is an essential part of the townscape and streetscape experience It will create a seamless journey and a clear transition for passengers using the transport facilities, accommodate the needs of the hub and demonstrate good practice streetscape design principles The mass and materials of the building will respond to the historic context of the town, within the Conservation Area.
The City of London Corporation will be undertaking waterproofing and drainage refurbishment on the podium, covering the public realm in the vicinity of Ben Jonson Place, Breton and Cromwell High Walk1. The project is part of essential maintenance works including drainage and refurbishment, as well as improvements to the wider public realm in that area2.
