This project creates a vibrant public space in the heart of the city, where people can come together and play. At its core are inflatable play structures, offering a fun and flexible environment for all ages. These inflatables can be rearranged to host different activities, allowing the space to adapt to whatever the community needs. The design invites social interaction, creativity, and movement, turning the urban space into a lively gathering place for everyone to enjoy.
The Cinematic Tower emerges as an iconic beacon within the urban fabric, a newly inspiring testament to innovation and imagination, smack dab in the heart of Catalinas in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Rising majestically amidst a vibrant masterplan, conceived with meticulous detail and dialoguing with its surroundings, the tower serves as a focal point characterized by an enthralling geometric movement that captivates the eye of pedestrians. A metallic mesh, reminiscent of photographic strips, delicately swirls throughout the building, evoking the fluidity and dynamism of cinema itself. Integrated to its surrounding community through the ascending of heights and an urban walkway, which starts from a new cultural sports center towards the tower, visitors embark on a fantastical journey. This pedestrian-friendly thoroughfare encourages interactive engagement, inviting visitors to explore the lively mixture of offices, restaurants, and the bio-market located below the bustling highway. However, redefining the traditional concept of office spaces, through the threads of cinematic magic and design, the tower houses a diverse program, not only offering offices, but also for a public three-story museum, film studios, open cinemas, subterranean parking lots and dancefloor for award galas, all of which, portray iconic moments from diverse local and international cinematic masterpieces. Above all, the Cinematic Tower stands as a symbol of mixed-use development and community identity, enriching the lives of workers, residents and visitors alike, seamlessly intertwining the realms of cinema, private offices, commerce and leisure.
